What services we provide
Enterprise Architecture Design & Review
We use the TOGAF framework to assess your current architecture and design a target state that supports your business objectives. This covers your business architecture, data architecture, application landscape, and technology infrastructure — viewed as a single, connected picture rather than isolated components. Whether you are building from scratch or modernising what you have, we give you a clear architecture blueprint and a realistic roadmap to implement it. Our assessments also include alignment checks against the DPSA Government-Wide Enterprise Architecture (GWEA) framework for public sector clients.
Legacy System Assessment & Modernisation
Old systems do not have to be scrapped immediately — but they do need a plan. We assess your legacy infrastructure to determine what can be upgraded, what should be replaced, and what needs to be integrated with newer platforms. We produce a clear, costed modernisation plan that phases the work sensibly so your organisation is never left exposed during a transition. Our team has direct experience managing legacy-to-modern migrations, including database platform changes and ERP transitions in high-stakes environments.
Systems Integration
Most organisations operate multiple systems that were implemented at different times by different vendors. When these systems do not talk to each other, staff work harder than they should — re-entering data, reconciling reports manually, and managing information across disconnected platforms. We design and manage system integration projects that connect your applications, databases, and platforms into a coherent environment. We handle integration architecture, middleware selection, API design, and testing — ensuring data flows accurately and securely across your organisation.
Cloud Readiness & Migration Advisory
Moving workloads to the cloud is not simply a matter of copying files to a new location. It requires careful planning around data sovereignty, security, cost management, and the readiness of your internal teams to operate in a cloud environment. We assess your current systems and advise on which workloads are suitable for cloud migration, which should remain on-premise, and which require re-engineering before they can move. We then plan and manage the migration, working with your chosen cloud provider to ensure a controlled and secure transition.
IT Infrastructure Planning & Capacity Management
A well-designed enterprise system is only as good as the infrastructure supporting it. We help organisations plan their IT infrastructure requirements — servers, networks, storage, and end-user devices — based on actual workload data and projected growth. We also assist with capacity management: making sure your infrastructure is neither over-provisioned and wasteful nor under-provisioned and at risk of failure under load. For organisations with distributed or remote sites, we design infrastructure strategies that account for connectivity constraints and operational realities specific to South Africa.
How we work
Discussion
We begin with a discovery workshop involving your IT leadership, key system owners, and business stakeholders. We map your current systems and infrastructure, understand how they are used, what problems they cause, and what your organisation needs them to do in the future. We look at your technology not in isolation but in the context of your strategic goals, your budget constraints, and your capacity to absorb change.
Strategy
We develop an architecture assessment report and a target state design. This document describes your recommended enterprise architecture, explains the reasoning behind each recommendation, and outlines a phased implementation roadmap. It includes cost estimates, risk assessments, and a clear view of the benefits your organisation will realise at each phase. Everything is reviewed and approved by your leadership before any implementation work begins.
Implementation
We manage the implementation of your new architecture — whether that means overseeing a systems integration project, managing a cloud migration, or supervising a legacy system replacement. We work closely with your internal IT team and any third-party vendors involved, maintaining accountability for quality, timelines, and budget. Our project managers apply PRINCE2 discipline to keep the work on track and your executives informed throughout.
Results
We measure outcomes against the architecture objectives set at the start of the engagement. This typically includes system performance benchmarks, integration accuracy, reduction in manual processing, infrastructure cost changes, and staff productivity improvements. We document what was delivered, what it cost, and what it achieved — giving you a clear record of the value realised from the investment.
Support
Enterprise systems and architecture require ongoing attention as your organisation grows and technology changes. We offer post-implementation architecture reviews, periodic health checks of your IT infrastructure, and advisory support for new technology decisions. If your team encounters challenges after go-live, we are available to assist — we do not consider an engagement closed until you are operating confidently in your new environment.
PRICING
How We Charge
ZongeTech does not use fixed price lists. Digital transformation engagements vary widely in scope, complexity, and duration — a one-size price list would not serve you well or reflect the actual work involved.
Instead, we offer a free initial consultation to understand your needs. From there, we provide a clear, written proposal with a full breakdown of costs before any work begins. There are no hidden fees and no surprises.
We work with clients on project-based fees, milestone-based billing, and monthly advisory retainers — whichever model suits your organisation best.
